Chiller Having Problems Starting the Compressor

On 7/25/2023 Arrived on site and found chiller having problems starting the compressor. Checked the start cap and found it at 1/2 capacity. Replaced with new cap and started up. Ran test and cycled to ensure compressor is starting without issue. Checked pressures and temperatures. Unit is operating properly at this time in Hutto Texas.…

Checked Wiring at Unit

On 7/21/2023 Checked wiring at coil. Checked wiring at unit. Rewired control wiring from time clock through thermostat and solenoid. From 4 on time clock to thermostat to solenoid. Unit now pumps down and cycles off. Found start cap blown replaced start cap with cap from old compressor. Soldered leak on suction line king valve.…
